Spoilers for books 1 and 2

Words that needed to be removed
Engorged clit
Sparrow
Devastated
Come
Heat (as in vagina)
And so many other cringe words.
Guessed the whole plot. Not very original but still enjoyable.
A lot of sex. Like a lot. Like a lot, a lot. Almost (and I never say this) too much. Like sometimes I got frustrated that the dialogue got cut short by sex. JUST TALK ABOUT YOUR ISSUES.
That was another frustrating thing. These people never talked but f-cked all over the place.

Queen of Myths and Monsters

Triggers: SA, suicide
Why does Adrian turn abusive in the second book?
Why is sex literally the answer to everything?
“Is this how it will always be?”
“What do you mean?” I asked.
She pressed her head into her pillow, allowing me access to her neck. “We always fight and fuck.”
Uhm, wut? This makes no sense because she literally requested sex. So why is she upset about her own solution???
The sex is too much. Like truly too much. And if I'M saying that you know it's a lot. I felt like I was reading erotica.
The hair-pulling, while she is pleasuring him, is so redundant. Not only that, but why is bro dripping before anything happens? Like, am I the only one who is like sir, is your peen alright?
I think devasted was the word of the day or something.
Both of these books are lacking depth. I haven't really connected with the characters. I could care less of they died. The two I'm most attached to are side characters (Killian and Sorin).
I'm so confused about magic and vampirism. Also I'm confused about the gods. Nothing is really explained in this book. It's sex or a random argument and that's the book.
