I definitely recommend this series. Although it’s not the most shocking with the plot twists, there were a few I didn’t see coming. If you’re looking for an easy, fun fantasy read, this is for you.

Let me start by saying, I love this series. I can't say what it is about Tessa and Corrick, but I absolutely can't get over their relationship.
I will say, I guessed all the big reveals except one and that was Bella being in that room. Never even thought it was a person in there. 🤯
Corrick really grows in this book. He stands up for and sees the good in himself, even when Tessa doesn't. And Tessa, sis, what is going on with you? Get your life together.
Tessa needed to get her throat punched most of this book. I HATED the love triangle thing that was going on with Captain Blackmore who I KNEW was the King. But luckily Tessa seems to come to her senses about 80% in and remembers that Corrick loves her. But he forgave her waaaayyy too easily. Bro is a simp.
Fox = Harriston. I knew it from the first mention. I don't know how, I just did. But I liked seeing more of him and learning what his deal was. But now I'm interested... Is Harriston pansexual/bisexual? Because he seems open to Violet and that guy who died. I think Quint and him are going to be a couple. 🤞🏻
